ACCEL-KS Webinar on Thursday, August 27

We’re hosting a Zoom webinar on Thursday, August 27, at 10 a.m. CT. During the virtual event, we’ll walk you through the Accelerating Concept to Commercialization, or ACCEL-KS, proof of concept grant program in partnership with the Kansas Department of Commerce.

• What’s new this year - a simplified application, fewer reports, and clearer guidance about eligible project expenses

• Key deadlines, and how the funding mechanism works

• Programs available to founders: CAMPFIRE, NXTUS, Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub: Kansas Manufacturing Readiness Level Bootcamp, and one-to-one consulting with the Maker Labs team, go-to-market strategists, and more.

• How we plan to connect with rural founders across the state of Kansas

• Live Q&A

We expect to spend about 30 minutes talking about the program, and we’ll reserve the rest of the time for live Q&As. We may not have all the answers, so, for the ones we don’t know, we’ll update the FAQ section.

ACCEL-KS will fund Kansas founders building new technologies up to $25,000. Last year, we funded 25 founders working in AgTech, ConTech, defense tech, EdTech, aerospace, AI, power, and more. Along with the funding, ACCEL-KS founders will receive valuable startup programs and one-to-one consulting with innovation and funding experts.
