Meet Grant Bellar!

1. In 50 words or fewer, what do you do?

I'm a tech nerd who loves business and entrepreneurship. I'm working as a Software Engineer for a local startup but I also do freelance Web Dev work!

2. What got you in the door at Groover Labs?

Connections. I was introduced to Groover Labs through member Mark Janzen. He gave me a tour and naturally I was hooked right away.

3. Early bird or night owl - and what are you doing during those hours?

I'm a night owl who sadly has to conform to social norms. But when I'm up late it's usually because I'm gaming with friends.

4. 3D Printer, laser cutter, or pencil - and what would you make?

3D printer. I need a case for my Raspberry Pi.

5. Flying there or driving there - with music, podcasts, or audiobooks?

I fly a lot but nothing beats a road trip. Music for sure!

6. Lo-fi, no-fi, or full-fi - how do you like to work?

I like soft background instrumental music when I'm trying to get in the flow state. Sometimes I just need silence though. It depends!

7. What's one problem you'd love to solve?

The problem of eating. Constantly having to plan meals and then consume them takes too much time. If there was a pill I could take to get all my nutrition I would be all over it.

8. What's something about you that people wouldn't expect?

Despite how much I love technology my dream is to move to the woods and live off the grid.

9. Fiction, non-fiction, business/leadership, motivation, other?

Fiction! I love to escape with a good fantasy novel. I get enough non-fiction in real life.
