Planetary Talent Wins Kansas Startup of the Year

Congratulations to Groover Labs member and ACCEL-KS grant recipient Planetary Talent, which was named Kansas Tech Startup of the Year at FlagshipKansas.Tech’s Ad Astra Technology Summit on June 4.

The Kansas Tech Startup of the Year Award is safely shepherded back to Groover Labs. Safety first.

Planetary Talent, a talent matching platform for fast-growing companies, started with two Kansas tech entrepreneurs working mere feet apart in our coworking area when they began brainstorming the idea that would transform into one of Kansas’s fastest growing tech startups.

We profiled their co-founder, president, and CEO Jacob Schlittenhardt earlier this year as part of our ACCEL-KS profile series. You can read that interview here. They were also featured in the Wichita Business Journal last year. Read that story here.

Suffice it to say, we at Groover Labs are all very excited for the Planetary Talent team. Other Groover Labs member companies have contracted with them to find earthly talent to great success.

Of working with Planetary Talent, one of our members who hired them said, “The profile they created for us was great, and the snippets and highlights of the conversations we had were also great. It was a completely new experience for us. We’ve worked with some aggressive recruiters who brought us a lot of unqualified candidates. But Planetary Talent? They brought us high quality candidates. I mean, we hired one of their candidates. That says everything.”
