SWE Engineering Expo on April 18

On Saturday, April 18, the Society of Women Engineers - Wichita Professional Section, will host the SWE Engineering Expo, a family fun event with 40+ activities for kids K-8th grade. This is a FREE Engineering Expo designed to ignite the imaginations of girls and boys via a spectrum of STEM-related concepts and hands-on activities.

STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. SWE focuses on enabling the next generation to explore STEM as an avenue to understand the world around them and explore the art of the possible.

We were tipped off to the event by some of our members, who are participants in the event. Last year, they had around 1,500 kids in attendance, with more than 3,000 attendees overall.
