We are excited to once again host Wichita Startup Week (WSW) November 13-17. Now in its third year, WSW moved from October to November this year to align with Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). We sat down with Ashley Scheideman, executive director of FalgshipKansas.Tech, to talk about their upcoming Ad Astra Technology Summit on 9/12. FlagshipKansas.Tech is one of the longest-serving members at Groover Labs, and we love having them in the building.

We spoke with Dresher about the Kansas Department of Commerce’s Proof of Concept grant, why he applied for it, and how he plans to use the funds to get JogAlong Strollers into the hands of consumers. Below is our lightly edited conversation.

Groover Labs is excited to share the Kansas Micro-Internship Program with you. Through this program, Kansas-based companies and organizations can receive grant funding for Micro-Internship opportunities as long as the selected student is enrolled in a Kansas public college or university. Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that take place in all areas of an organization. These projects can be completed remotely on a year-round basis and typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work. Projects are typically due within a month of kick-off and provide your busy team with immediate support on short-term tasks.

We’re offering a limited number of dedicated desks for $200 each and a limited number of studios for $250 each. Desk and studio members have 24/7 access.
