3D Printing and Open Studio

Are you looking for an in-person 3D printing class in Wichita? Are you in the market for a 3D printer but not sure where to start? Do you already have some experience with 3D printing but want to build your skill level?

If the answer is “yes” to any of these questions, then our in-person 4-week 3D Printing and Open Studio class is for you.

The first class is October 1, 2021, from 5:30 - 9:30 pm. and is open to beginning and experienced users. It will focus on the basics of 3D printing in our Fab Lab and also includes open studio time for personal use of the 3D printers.

Class size is limited to 10 people, and each participant will be assigned their own 3D printer station for their exclusive use during class time.

Participants must be at least 14, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian who is also enrolled in the class.

During this four-week course, you'll learn the basics of 3D printing in order to operate one on your own. The first class will focus on general printer operations where you'll learn how to print a design pre-selected by our instructor. In the following classes, you’ll learn how to download and print files of your own choosing.

Our instructor will be on hand to work with you, answer questions, and troubleshoot any problems you encounter. If you're a more experienced user, consider the following classes as an open studio. No experience is necessary, but a laptop computer is required for use during the class.
